Excel – Statistics

In this course I will introduce you to the use Excel Statistical Functions and free Excel Statistical Add-ins. Excel has a huge range of statistical functions and add-ins available.

We will also cover the major statistical formulas from first principles including:

  • Mean
  • Standard Deviation
  • Normal Distributions
  • Central Limit Theorem
  • t-Distribution
  • Regression Analysis
  • Correlation
  • ANOVA Testing

I have practical Excel worked examples for each of these areas.

Among the formulas and areas cover will be:

  • SumSq
  • SumProduct
  • Array Functions
  • Average (Mean)
  • Variance – Var.p entire population and var.s with N-1 for population
  • Standard Deviation – stdev.p entire population
  • Correlation Coefficient – CORREL
  • Standard Scores – STANDARDIZE

Excel – Statistical Graphs

  • Scatterplot
  • Regression Analysis
  • Line and Bar Charts
