This is a video I shot today, 17th August in Greystones, Co Wicklow of a giant poisonous Scorpionfish.
A sting from the dorsal fin could be fatal to a small child or elderly person.
The scorpionfish was only at 2–3 metres underwater.
It measured over 40 cm and I have only ever seen them this big abroad.
Never, ever touch their dorsal fin (the fin on the top).
