This is a video I shot today, 17^th August in Grey­stones, Co Wick­low of a giant pois­on­ous Scorpionfish.

A sting from the dorsal fin could be fatal to a small child or eld­erly person.

The scor­pi­on­fish was only at 2–3 metres underwater.

It meas­ured over 40 cm and I have only ever seen them this big abroad.

Never, ever touch their dorsal fin (the fin on the top).
